Description
Aluminum Foil Tape is used for sealing and seaming Plain Foil / Foil Scrim Kraft (FSK) faced fiberglass duct / pipe insulation surface. Plain Aluminum Foil Tape provides protection against moisture combined with superior sealing and strength.
- Resists flame, moisture, weather, UV degradation, some chemicals, water vapor and smoke transmission
- Can be used in most weather conditions and at a wide variety of temperatures
- Thermal conductivity helps cooling and heating efficiency, improving efficiency in systems
- Conformable backing and pressure sensitive rubber adhesive adheres to a variety of smooth or irregular surfaces
- Acts as a vapor barrier to insure the integrity of the insulation system
- Aluminum foil backing UV, moisture, mold and mildew resistant
